Joshua Rouse is a traditional sign-painter and artist. Joshua specialises in traditional methods in hand painting unique and ornate signs and murals. Contrasting this, he uses experimental, wild and energetic techniques and style in his personal artworks. Often using maximalist influences and a bright colour palette to create urban artworks. Employing his traditional and precise methods and contrasting them with a rugged freeness, allows him to express himself outside of being a full-time sign-painter. Joshua is a resident artist at The Artery Studios within the arches and is an enthusiastic voice in the local art scene and community.
